The Black Keys

The Black Keys Fillmore Poster (2006)
pen & ink, Photoshop
size: 12”x19” offset print.

The Black Keys have this old heavy basement blues going on, so I wanted the poster to feel a bit antique. I found an old book at an antique store and used that as the canvas. I did the drawing/lettering by hand and then added color, shading and texture with this ol’ computer I have. The image is the key scene in this old tale about the black keys.
