Sara Varon is a printmaker, illustrator, and comics artist living in Brooklyn. Her first graphic novel, Sweaterweather, was published by Alternative Comics in 2003. Her first kids' book will be available March 2006 through Scholastic. She is currently working on the next graphic novel, which will be a 200 page story about a relationship between a dog and robot, to be published by First Second Books in 2007.
