Poetry by Katrina Toft and Mike Scheer

Katrina Toft is an artist and writer who is reuniting with the trees of the Northwest after exploring the many tiny particles of sand and water molecules that make up the Southern Californian shorelines. She plans to study Fine Art and Design at the Northwest College of Art in Poulsbo, WA. Her interest in mask-making developed from a childhood love of creating unique Halloween costumes and from living in Brazil, where she was exposed to the masks of Carnival. Each of Katrina Toft's masks is designed and sculpted to produce one-of-a-kind creations. To see more, go to www.alchemyartseffects.com
