How to Heal a Broken Heart (2006)
digital photo collage (Photoshop)
12 x 18 in. print on archival photographic paper

Here is another very personal piece, an image born from my vision over my own broken heart (at the time). The title is, of course, a paradox, because, together with the image, it actually shows how NOT to heal a broken heart. Plasters and stitches won’t help and the healing process can’t be sped with such endeavors.

I grew up painting and drawing, but went to college to study Journalism and received my Bachelor’s degree in 2005. My degree in Journalism helped me to discover photography, which I studied intensively and passionately.  Later, my love for photography lead me to another level of artistic expression: digital art. I am now a graphic designer with Ardis Creative and a gallery artist represented by James Schot Gallery of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Born and raised in Romania, I moved to Florida in October of 2006. In May of 2006 I was awarded 3 gold medals in The Trierenberg Super Circuit, one of the major international photography contests.
